Who are We?

Robison conversions have been converting basements and lofts since 2006. We also take on full house renovations and extensions that include a basement or loft conversion. Since the start of the business, my aim has been to take a different approach from other building contractors and foster a relationship based on trust and customer service that I feel is lacking in this industry. To that end I have put into place certain procedures to deliver that trust and customer service to my clients.

Our Philosophy

First of all, we do not take any money as a deposit to secure the work; the first time we require a payment is at the beginning of the job so you don’t need to worry about handing over large sums of money months before. We also offer a defects liability period of 1 month at 5% of the contract amount so that you hold onto 5% of the money after completion to make sure you are happy with everything and to ensure that all the equipment works. We will draw up a contract for the work and give you a copy of the terms and conditions, a copy of our insurance documents, and copies of any other documents involved such as a building notice confirmation, structural reports, and floor plans. It is extremely important to me that each member of my team is polite, courteous, friendly, and that they keep your home clean and tidy. We will keep you informed about what is happening each week so that you can plan ahead. Each member of my team and any subcontractors that are involved understand how important the customer service side is to me, and this is why I have chosen them.
